Mar. 21: St. Lawrence University's men's hockey program has become the fourth ECAC Hockey team to have two players named to the Hobey Baker top ten list since the inception of the award in 1981 and joins a select group of league teams to have three players selected as first-team all stars in the same season.
Mar. 16: St. Lawrence University's offense couldn't get it going against Yale for the second consecutive night and the Bulldogs ended the Saint season with a 3-0 win in game two of their ECAC quarterfinal series at Ingalls Rink in New Haven Saturday night.
Mar. 15: Yale University's big guns came out firing and its defense put a muzzle on the Saint trio of Kyle Flanagan, Greg Carey and Jeremy Wick as Yale took a 1-0 lead in its best of three ECAC quarterfinal series with St. Lawrence with a 6-1 win over the Saints.
Mar. 9: The "Big Three" got some help from junior defenseman Justin Baker on the offensive end of the ice as a shorthanded defensive unit helped Matt Weninger hold an explosive young Colgate offense in check as St. Lawrence advanced to the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals with a 4-1 series clinching victory over Colgate at Appleton Arena Saturday night.
Mar. 8: The venerable confines of Appleton Arena were friendly to St. Lawrence University's men's hockey team in a game with Colgate University again Friday night and the Saints are a game up in the best of three ECAC Hockey playoff series with the Raiders as a result.
Mar. 4: Reserved seat tickets for the 2013 ECAC Hockey first round playoff series between Colgate University and St. Lawrence University at Appleton Arena are now on sale.
Mar. 2: Rensselaer senior defenseman Nick Bailen scored one goal and set up two others as the Engineers eliminated any possibility of a St. Lawrence first-round bye in the upcoming ECAC Hockey playoffs with a 4-1 win at Houston Field House in Troy Saturday night.
Mar. 1: Union College jumped out to a fast start then then finished strong to hand St. Lawrence a 5-1 ECAC Hockey loss in the second to last game of the 2013 regular season at Messa Rink in Schenectady Friday night, but the Saints remain in the picture for a possible bye with one game to play.
