Saints Crack Rankings, Host UAH as Part of Joe Marsh Weekend

St. Lawrence University's men's hockey team will return to action after a week off and finds itself in the top 20 nationally with its first poll appearances since March of 2009 heading into a first-ever set against the University of Alabama at Huntsville at Appleton Arena Friday and Saturday.

Flanagan Player of the Week Again; Weninger Earns Goalie Honor

Oct. 23: St. Lawrence University senior captain Kyle Flanagan has been named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week for the second straight week and junior goaltender Matt Weninger earned ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week honors after a road sweep of Maine in Orono last weekend.

Saints Sweep Maine, Win Game 2 5-1

Oct. 20: Junior goaltender Matt Weninger came through with his second straight big night in goal and the St. Lawrence University duo of Greg Carey and Kyle Flanagan combined for four goals and six points as the Saints completed a sweep of the University of Maine with a 5-1 win in Orono on Saturday night.

Saints Roll to 5-0 Win at Maine

Oct. 19: There haven't been many times in St. Lawrence University hockey history that they have been able to send a crowd home early in a visiting rink, but they did just that Friday night at Maine's Alfond Arena, rolling to a 5-0 win over the Black Bears to extend their unbeaten string against Hockey East opponents to six straight games.

Flanagan Named ECAC Player of the Week

Oct. 16: St. Lawrence University senior men's hockey captain Kyle Flanagan has been named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week after helping the Saints to a split at nationally ranked Western Michigan University last weekend.

Western Michigan Gains Split with 3-2 Win

Oct. 13: Western Michigan defenseman Garrett Harr snapped a 2-2 tie with his second goal of the weekend with 5:27 left in regulation time, lifting the nationally ranked Broncos to a 3-2 win over St. Lawrence and to a split of the weekend non-league series between the two teams.

Saints Shock Western Michigan 4-3 in OT in Season Opener

Oct. 12: Jeremy Wick came off the bench at the right time and was in the right place 1:33 into overtime Friday night as he took a pass from Greg Carey and beat Western Michigan goaltender Frank Slubowski from point blank range to give the Saints a 4-3 overtime victory in the NCAA season opener for both teams.

Carey's Goal Wins Exhibition Game in Overtime

Oct. 6: Junior wing Greg Carey finished off a two-on-one rush with the winning goal 1:29 into overtime as St. Lawrence University won an exhibition hockey game with Carleton University of Ottawa 3-2 in its first game action of the 2012-13 season at Appleton Arena Saturday night.

Saints Ready for Season With Exhibition on Tap

Oct. 1: The quest for 1,000 wins will begin for St. Lawrence University's men's hockey team when it opens the 2012-13 season with an exhibition game against Carleton University of Ottawa at Appleton Arena at 7 pm. Saturday.
