The state of Maine has not been kind to St. Lawrence University's men's hockey team, and Saturday night's game against the University of Maine in Portland's Cumberland County Civic Center was no exception.

Dartmouth College built a 3-1 lead through two periods and then held off a St. Lawrence comeback to earn a 3-2 victory over the Saints in Hanover, NH on Saturday night, snapping a six-game losing streak and forcing the Saints to settle for a weekend split of its ECAC series.

                Senior goaltender Alex Petizian made a career-high 42 saves and freshman defenseman George Hughes had a goal and an assist as St. Lawrence University's hockey team skated to a 3-2 win over Harvard in a ECAC Hockey game at the Bright Hockey Center on the Harvard campus Friday night.

HAMDEN, CT-Quinnipiac had a big game on special teams and goaltender Dan Clarke turned in a solid performance as the Bobcats topped St. Lawrence 5-2 in a ECAC Hockey game Saturday afternoon.

                PRINCETON, NJ-Junior center Aaron Bogosian had a goal and an assist to key a four-goal explosion by St. Lawrence University's men's hockey team and the Saints skated to a 5-2 victory over Princeton in the ECAC Hockey  opener for both teams at Hobey Baker Rink Friday night.

St. Lawrence sophomore Pete Child has been named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week after his performance in the weekend series against Sacred Heart.
