Harvard tops saints in 1-0 thriller

St. Lawrence University’s men’s hockey team had played three straight overtime games prior to Saturday night’s game at Harvard. They would have loved to have gone another extra period on Saturday, but Harvard freshman goalie Matt Hoyle made a second period power play goal stand up as the game winner in a 1-0 win at the Bright Hockey Center.

Darmouth tips Saints in overtime, 4-3

Sophomore Adam Estoclet finished off a three-on-two rush with his second goal of the season with 1:06 to play in overtime to lift Dartmouth to a 3-2 win over 19th-ranked St. Lawrence in a ECAC Hockey game at Thompson Arena in Hanover Friday night.

Dartmouth, now 3-2-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the ECAC, snapped a five-game unbeaten streak by the Saints and beat the Saints in Hanover for the first time in the last three meetings between the two teams. SLU falls to 4-3-1 overall and 2-1-1 in ECAC play despite outshooting Dartmouth 45-30 in the game.

Saints settle for three point weekend after 2-2 tie with Brown

Oh those pesky Bears...

Brown's hockey team assured itself of at least one point from the Saints for the 18th consecutive season, using a pair of power play goals and the goaltending of junior Dan Rosen to forge a 2-2 overtime tie at Appleton Arena Saturday evening.

Bollig, Petizian beat Yale 3-2 in overtime

Freshman Brandon Bollig reached out and poked the puck over the goal line in a scramble around the net with 1:14 gone in overtime to lift St. Lawrence University to a 3-2 win over Yale in the ECAC Hockey opener for both teams at Appleton Arena Friday night.
