Sutton, Saints Sack Mariners 13-6; Retain Hoffman Cup

Sept. 25: The St. Lawrence University football team retained the Hoffman Cup in dramatic fashion on Saturday, as the Scarlet and Brown defeated the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy by the score of 13-6 at Captain Tomb Field in Kings Point, NY. Junior Ethan Sutton was named the Saints' Most Valuable Player, as he scored both touchdowns for the winning team, while the defense posted a season-high nine sacks.

Sept. 25: The St. Lawrence University football team's game against the United States Merchant Marine Academy, set for a 2:00pm kick-off today, will be broadcast live from Captain Tomb Stadium in Kings Point, NY.

Saints Rally Falls Short, #25 Saxons Escape 24-16

Sept. 18: The St. Lawrence University football team rallied from a 21-point deficit on Saturday against nationally-ranked #25 Alfred University at Leckonby Stadium in Canton, NY.  However, the Saxons held on in the fourth quarter and came up with a key third down conversion on the final possession to seal a 24-16 victory.

Sept. 17: The St. Lawrence University football team looks to pick up its first win of the 2010 season on Saturday when the Saints play host to Alfred University at Leckonby Stadium.

Denton’s Three Scores Lead Norwich Past Saints, 25-14

Sept. 11: Norwich University's Chris Denton made a game-high seven catches for 169 yards and three touchdowns, pacing the Cadets to a 25-14 victory over the St. Lawrence University football team at Leckonby Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Four Turnovers Cost Saints in Opening Loss to No. 16 Ithaca

Sept. 4: The St. Lawrence University football team dropped its 2010 season opener on Saturday in Ithaca, NY to the nationally-ranked No. 16 Bombers from Ithaca College.  The Saints, who kept within striking distance throughout much of the game, were done in by four turnovers, one of which, a 66-yard interception return for a touchdown by Mike Conti, was the turning point of the game.

New-Look Saints Kick-Off 2010 Campaign with Ithaca

Sept. 2: The St. Lawrence University football team will take the field for the first time under new head coach Mark Raymond on Saturday, as the Scarlet and Brown travel to Ithaca, NY to square-off with the Bombers of Ithaca College in the 2010 season opener.
