Sept. 29: Goals were hard to come by for the field hockey teams from St. Lawrence and Geneseo on Saturday as after the teams traded goals in a span of just over three minutes in the second half, they played through another 45 minutes without another before the game was finally decided by a penalty stroke shootout with Geneseo winning 2-1.
St. Lawrence University's field hockey team scored a pair of first half goals and sophomore goaltender Brady Cooper made them stand up for a 2-0 victory over St. John Fisher as the Saints won their second straight at Hall-Leet Stadium on North Country Field Tuesday afternoon.
