Braddock, Franz Share Baseball MVP Honors

While a quartet of seniors made significant contributions to St. Lawrence University's  baseball season, 2010 was the year of the rookie for the Saints and two of a stellar first-year class shared the team's Most Valuable Player Award.

Clarkson Ends Saint Season in Liberty League Tourney

Clarkson jumped out to a 3-0 lead through five innings and then answered a St. Lawrence run in the top of the seventh with four in the bottom of the same inning to post a 11-3 win over the Saints, ending SLU's season in the Liberty League tournament  on Saturday.

Rochester Downs Saints in Liberty League Tourney Opener

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (May 14, 2010) - The University of Rochester scored nine runs - four of them unearned - early in the game to rally for a 14-8 victory over St. Lawrence University in the opening round of the Liberty League Baseball Championships at Towers Field.

Cook Named Liberty League Pitcher of the Year

St. Lawrence University junior Chris Cook has been named Liberty League Pitcher of the Year in voting by the league's coaches.

Saints Earn Liberty League Berth With 4-1 Win at Clarkson

Junior Chris Cook pitched a three hitter and St. Lawrence University's baseball team scored three times in the top of the second inning for a 4-1 Liberty League baseball victory at Clarkson Monday afternoon, clinching a spot in the Liberty League Tournament. Clarkson came back to win the nightcap 3-0 and also nabbed a place in the tournament.

Saints Gain Another Split With RPI in Baseball

CLARKSON GAMES SNOWED OUT...

Sunday's scheduled doubleheader with Clarkson on Tom Fay Field was canceled due to snow and cold. The two teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader at noon on Monday in Potsdam with a Liberty League playoff berth on the line.

St. Lawrence University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute went into their Friday-Saturday Liberty League double header set tied for the fourth and final playoff spot in the upcoming league tournament, and came out the same way after the Red Hawks prevailed 1-0 in a masterful pitching duel in game one, and the Saints rallied behind a rookie pitcher to win game two 7-5.
