Oswego Edges Saints 3-2

Freshman Dan Erne pitched shutout ball into the eighth inning and senior Andy Salvatore came on to snuff out a St. Lawrence rally and earn a save as Oswego State edged the Saints 3-2 in a NCAA Division III baseball game at Tom Fay Field Wednesday afternoon.

Rochester Completes Sweep of Saints

The University of Rochester put away game one with a
five-run fifth inning and built a 11-0 lead in game two, completing a four-game
Liberty League sweep of St. Lawrence with 8-2 and 13-7 wins in Rochester on
Sunday.

Errors Do In Saints as Rochester Sweeps Liberty League Set

 

St. Lawrence University's baseball team made six errors in game one of a Liberty League doubleheader at Rochester on Saturday and five in game two as the University of Rochester swept games one and two with 13-2 and 11-0 wins, scoring16 unearned runs in the two games in Rochester on Saturday.

Saints Bow 10-9 in Slugfest in Final Florida Game

St. Lawrence University's baseball team finished its Florida trip with a 6-2 record after a 10-9 loss to Dominican in the final game of the week at Fort Meyers on Saturday.

Sophomore Kyle Donaldson earned his second win of the season, allowing just one hit and no runs over three innings of relief as St. Lawrence University's baseball team beat Southern Vermont 9-4 to improve to 3-1 on their southern trip.

Saints Gain Split With Haverford in Florida

Pat Considine scored the winning run from first base with one out in the bottom of the seventh to give St. Lawrence University's baseball team a 5-4 win over Haverford College, gaining a split of a Sunday doubleheader played in Florida.

Fay Wins 500th as Saints Win Season Opener 6-5

St. Lawrence University baseball coach Tom Fay earned his 500th career victory in the Saints 2010 season opener as SLU beat Olivet 6-5 in Fort Myers, FL to open their southern trip. Fay, whose first collegiate win came on a no-hitter in his first game as a college coach in April of 1973, should join the top 50 in all-time wins in Division III baseball history later this season.
