Feb. 28: The St. Lawrence University men's and women's
alpine ski teams concluded the 2011 carnival season on Sunday, as the teams
raced in the giant slalom at the EISA Championships hosted by Bates at Sunday
River. Following the event, NCAA bids
were announced and sophomore Ashley-Kate Durham will represent the Scarlet and
Brown for the second consecutive season.
Feb. 26: St. Lawrence University junior alpine skier Ann
West picked up a 17th place finish on Saturday in the slalom races
at the 2011 EISA Championships hosted by Bates College at Sunday River.
Feb. 19: St. Lawrence University sophomore Ashley-Kate
Durham posted the Saints alpine ski team's top finish on Saturday in the giant
slalom at the 2011 Middlebury Carnival.
Meanwhile, both rookie Dustin Martin and junior Matt Dodge had
collegiate-best showings in the event, as both the men's and women's squads
earned sixth place.
Feb. 18: St. Lawrence University sophomore alpine skier Ashley-Kate
Durham earned her third top-5 finish of the 2011 season on Friday at the
Middlebury Carnival. Durham was fourth
overall in the women's slalom, while rookie Ben DeFlavio paced the men's alpine
team in 24th.
Feb. 12: St. Lawrence University sophomore Ashley-Kate
Durham earned her second consecutive eighth-place finish at the 2011 Dartmouth
Carnival on Saturday.
Feb. 11: St. Lawrence University junior Matt Dodge and
sophomores Ashley-Kate Durham and Ann West all earned top-20 showings on Friday
in the Giant Slalom at the 2011 Dartmouth Carnival at the Dartmouth Outing Club.
Feb. 5: St. Lawrence University senior alpine skier Kelly
Skinner recorded her second collegiate top-20 finish, while first-year student
Nick Scalia had a career-best showing on Saturday in the slalom at the 2011 UVM
Carnival in Stowe, VT.
Feb. 4: The St. Lawrence University men's and women's alpine
ski teams competed in the giant slalom on Friday at the 2011 UVM Carnival at Mt.
Mansfield. Sophomore Ann West led the
women's team to a sixth place showing overall, while the rookie duo of Dustin
Martin and Ben DeFlavio paced the men's squad.
