Barry, Houser Pace Saints in Slalom at Colby

Jan. 22: The St. Lawrence University alpine ski teams completed competition at the 2011 Colby Carnival on Saturday at Sugarloaf.  Rookie Caroline Barry had the best Saint finish of the day in 17th position, while junior Scott Houser led the men's team in 27th place.

Women’s Team Finishes Third in GS at Colby

Jan. 21: The St. Lawrence University women's alpine ski team earned its second straight podium finish in the giant slalom on Friday at the 2011 Colby Carnival at Sugarloaf.  The Saints were third in the GS with 86.0 points, six ahead of Middlebury, with sophomore Ashley-Kate Durham leading the way with her seventh career top-10 showing.

Durham Earns Podium Finish in Slalom

Jan. 15: St. Lawrence University sophomore Ashley-Kate Durham earned her third collegiate podium finish on Saturday in Lake Placid, NY, as Timmins, ON native was third overall in the slalom at the 2011 St. Lawrence Carnival.  On the men's side, rookie Ben DeFlavio picked up his first collegiate top-20 finish on Whiteface Mountain.

Durham, Skinner Lift Saints to Second Place in GS

Jan. 14: The St. Lawrence University Alpine ski teams opened the 2011 campaign on Friday in Lake Placid, NY as the Saints played host to the first EISA carnival of the season at Whiteface Mountain.  Sophomore Ashley-Kate Durham's fifth place finish in the Giant Slalom led the Saints' women's team to second place overall, while junior Jeremy Lawless' fourth collegiate top-20 showing helped the men to fourth place as a team.

Saints Set to Host Opening 2011 EISA Carnival

Jan. 13: The St. Lawrence University alpine ski teams will host the opening carnival of the 2011 Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) calendar this weekend in Lake Placid, NY.  It is the second year in a row that EISA racing starts with the St. Lawrence Carnival, as each of the races this weekend at Whiteface Mountain will serve as NCAA qualifiers.
