Durham Continues to Shine, Finishes Runner-Up in Slalom

Jan. 23: St. Lawrence University first-year student Ashley-Kate Durham picked up her second runner-up finish of the weekend in the Slalom on Saturday at the St. Michael's Carnival at Smugglers Notch.  The Timmins, ON native led the Saints' women's alpine ski team to a fifth place finish, while three top-20 finishes on the men's side led the Scarlet and Brown to sixth place.

Jan. 22: It hasn't taken St. Lawrence University first-year student Ashley-Kate Durham long to adapt to collegiate alpine skiing.  The Timmons, ON native, who picked up a 7th place finish last weekend at the St. Lawrence Carnival, continued her outstanding start to the season by finishing in second place out of 54 skiers on Friday in the Giant Slalom at the St. Michael's Carnival at Smugglers Notch.

Rogers, Robbins Earn Top-25 Finishes on Day Two of SLU Carnival

Jan. 16: St. Lawrence University sophomore Elena Rogers matched a collegiate best finish on Saturday, the second day of the 2010 SLU Carnival in Lake Placid, NY.  The Naugatuck, CT native was 19th overall in the Women's Slalom, with junior Heidi Robbins also earning a top-25 finish to lead the women's squad to a 7th place showing in the event.

Durham Logs 7th Place Finish in First Collegiate Race

Jan. 15: The St. Lawrence University men's and women's Alpine ski teams opened the 2010 season on Friday morning at the SLU Carnival in Lake Placid, NY.  First-year student Ashley-Kate Durham made a splash in her debut, finishing in 7th place overall in the women's Giant Slalom on Whiteface Mountain.

Jan. 11: The St. Lawrence University men's and women's Alpine ski teams will play host to the EISA's opening carnival of the 2010 season this weekend in Lake Placid, NY.
