This is the first of a three-series workshop on assessment sponsored by the Assessment Committee to support the University’s campus-wide assessment initiatives.

The focus of this workshop will be on the development of learning goals, with a particular emphasis on the processes academic departments and programs employ.  The workshop will address questions such as:  How do you begin to formulate common student learning goals for your academic department or program?  How do you use these learning goals, once they are formulated?  What can make this process most successful and what mistakes should be avoided?

All interested faculty (in particular department/program chairs) and staff are invited.  Bring your own questions and share your advice.  This will be a very interactive conversation.

Cookies and refreshments will be provided.

For more information, please contact Eileen LaCourse at the CTL.
