Learning Goals
Mission Statement
The mission of the St. Lawrence University Security & Safety
Department is to provide and promote a safe and secure environment
for the entire campus community.
Aims and Objectives
In our mission to provide and promote a safe and secure environment
our aim is to provide the campus community with the following abilities:
- The ability to learn basic fire safety concepts and emergency
procedures.
- The ability to learn leadership skills, teamwork skills, and
to understand the importance of being accountable to a team.
- The ability to learn basic personal safety skills and self
defense techniques.
- The ability to understand and utilize electronic safety measures
designed to enhance one’s personal safety.
- The ability to learn and understand the importance of personal
property protection programs.
