Aims and Objectives

Our Mission:
The mission of the Winning Student Health Center is to provide quality medical care and educational services empowering students to be active partners in their healthcare and supporting students in their pursuit of their academic and life goals.

• The ability to build individual capacity for wellness and reduce the risk of individual illness and injury
• The ability to identify negative environmental influences contributing to illness and injury, and apply appropriate actions to modify or diminish negative influences
• The ability to identify positive environmental influences on health and apply these measures to daily life
• The ability to understand modes of illness transmission and prevent contraction and spread of illnesses
• The ability to identify initial signs and symptoms of illness and injury and take appropriate measures of treatment
• The ability to identify larger institutional issues, community factors and public policies that affect the individual and community health.
