Department Chairs and Program Coordinators,

I know that you are hard at work developing plans for how you are going to go about evaluating the extent to which students in your programs are achieving the learning goals you have set out for them.  I have been vague to date on the date by which I would ask you to submit your plans.  We now see our work preparing for Middle States has implications for this due date.  Therefore, I write now to ask you to submit a draft of your department's or program's plan on or before March 1st.  I will share these with the Assessment Committee and with the Middle States Steering Committee.
