When I studied abroad in India in the fall of 2015, I did an Independent Research Project on human interaction with stray dogs. Besides being interested in the topic, I learned a lot about the work that goes into carrying out a research. India also provided me with another lens to view religious interaction. The way religion is constructed and intertwined with daily life is remarkably different. After my experience abroad, I took a couple of other Asian Studies courses and declared my minor.
