Shakespeare As Lyricist: Theatre & vocal music masterclass

2/9/18 10:30am to 12:00pm
Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall

To know music history is to know the history of the world. The parallels we draw between music, literature, foreign language, and theatre will enrich the understanding of the historical significance of Shakespeare’s works in multiple societies, as well as the collaborative nature of the arts and how artistic relationships advance the progress of humankind.

The 90-minute masterclass for students wishing to be coached in dramatic or musical material by the artists must submit material to sstinson@stlawu.edu by February 1 in order to participate, but the class is open for all to attend.

Other events involved in this symposium are a lecture panel/Q & A session at 6 pm and Performance at 7:30 pm, both on the same date.
