I first came to St. Lawrence as an Economics major, but soon realized that Fine Arts was a passion that I would follow. I had taken some photography courses in high school, but it wasn’t until college that I realized this was something I would like to do for the rest of my life. While working on black and white film photography I worked on my technical and conceptual skills at school but, it was the digital work outside the classroom that I began to focus on. The art of capturing a moment in time and the ability to do so in different ways is what draws me to this medium. My digital body of work began to grow and last summer I created a website and freelance photography business that I hope to continue when I graduate this May. I have been a photography TA and a technician in the Fine Arts Computer lab, NCAT.
