Brush Alumni House

Located at 11 University Avenue, the Brush Alumni House was built in the late 1800s by University Trustee Frank Cleaveland. The Brush Alumni House was named in honor of John D. Brush, Sr. '22 and Edna Jeanne Brush '24.

The Brush Alumni House welcomes alumni, faculty and staff, parents, guests of the University, and prospective students and their families. We offer four guest suites each with a private bath. There is a room with one double bed, a queen (with fireplace), a king (with pull out couch), and a room with two twin beds. Modest kitchen facilities are available as well as a beautiful, winterized sunroom. A formal dining room and living room are also available for your use. Sorry, no pets are allowed and the entire building is smoke-free. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the house (Requirements: Laptop Computer 802.11a, b, g, Wireless Adapter, Windows XP, Vista or Mac OSX 10.3). See Policy and Procedures for a full account of the house rules.
