The St. Lawrence Blog
Who is St. Lawrence University? We are a group of people with countless adventures and even more stories. The St. Lawrence Blog gives our students, faculty and staff the chance to tell their tales, in their own words and in their own way. Sharing these anecdotes in one place gives our community the chance to show how creative, daring and passionate we are about what we do. Alone, these stories are powerful; together they define St. Lawrence.

Summertime: A period to rest from the year behind and prepare for the year ahead. For many college students, this is the time to work, travel, pursue an internship, or simply revel in having their parents do their laundry once again.
Nestling 'neath the purple shadows of the Adirondack hills lies our noble alma mater.
When I first came to campus four years ago, my Pre-Orientation Trip leader gave me the single piece of advice that has most shaped my experience at St. Lawrence.

In a community where students are so passionately engaged in campus life, it’s no wonder so many alums go on to get married! While each student has his or her own valued interests, we all share the love for St. Lawrence University.
When new Laurentians arrive on campus in late August every year, the first event each incoming class attends together is Matriculation. Our president, some of our deans, and our Thelomathesian Society president provide some words of welcome.
