St. Lawrence University Scholarships
Each year, St. Lawrence awards tens of millions of dollars in financial aid. Some of this is based on your family's financial need, and the remainder is based on the strength of your application. Individual merit scholarships range from $7,500 to $20,000 per year; the maximum merit dollar amount awarded to an individual student is $20,000 per year.
University Scholarship
All successful applicants to St. Lawrence are considered for University Scholarships. These scholarships, which range from $50,000 to $60,000 awarded over four years, are awarded based on academic and co-curricular achievements, as well character and citizenship. University Scholarships are awarded to first-year students and transfer students.
Sesquicentennial Scholarship
Similar to the University Scholarship, the Sesquicentennial Scholarship is awarded based on the strength of the application for admission. Named in honor of St. Lawrence's 150th anniversary, this $80,000 scholarship ($20,000 per year) is awarded to 150 of the top applicants for each first-year class.
Canadian Merit Scholarship
All Canadian applicants are considered for the Canadian Merit Scholarship which parallels the Sesquicentennial Scholarship in both the amount of the award ($80,000) and the criteria for selection: academic and co-curricular achievements, as well character and citizenship.
