Akintunde Akinmade '06 is a double major in government and economics who calls Salt Lake City, Utah, home. The graduate of Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School is a member of Model United Nations, SLU Democrats and the Student-Alumni Association, and is a community assistant in a student residence. "I probably would have gone somewhere else if I hadn't gotten the PDS -- it was that important," he says. He's glad he was able to come to St. Lawrence, citing his participation on the University's program in London, England, as one among many highlights of his college career. He plans to go on to graduate school to study international relations.
