Presidental Diversity Scholars Program

GOAL: To increase student diversity by facilitating the enrollment of students of African American, Asian American, Hispanic American and Native American backgrounds.

BENEFITS: $20,000 per year merit scholarship, awarded to students based on academic achievement, leadership and service to community · Any additional demonstrated financial need will be met by financial aid · Students selected as Presidential Diversity Scholars will be invited to visit campus in April of the year they were admitted, all expenses paid.

TO APPLY: Complete the application for admission to St. Lawrence University by february 1st of the year in which you intend to enroll. Write a supplemental essay (250-500 words) addressing the following: Describe an experience you have had that has led you to value diversity.
