Our "wakeful world-consciousness" has been in an ongoing dogmatic slumber for centuries through the advent of the ego, some displaced ideal of immortal soul, a projection of a wholly other God, and the Lebenwelt, a life-world, as an objectified other. Such tenets of this kind of worldview have had deleterious effects on the way we live together in human and nonhuman communities.
