Prof. Gardinier Halstead Publication & Directing Activities
Ann Marie Gardinier Halstead has been published in the service learning journal Compact Impact. In her article “Service Learning and the Arts: Community, Design, and Impact,” she discusses her community-based learning course Children’s Theatre in the Schools, a course she teaches regularly in the PCA Department.
Ann Marie Gardinier Halstead directed a staged reading of Eve Ensler’s The Good Body at The Firehouse Theatre Project, a professional theatre in Richmond, Virginia, in July 2010. Previously, Professor Halstead directed another Ensler’s play, The Vagina Monologues, at SLU (2005).
