Professional Cereer:
I joined the Performance and Communication Arts Department in the Fall of 2011 as the Technical Director and Production Manager.
Most recently, I was a Lecturer and the Technical Director for the Theatre Department at the University of West Florida. Previously, I served for five years as the Assistant Technical Director for the Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance at the College of William and Mary. I have been the Technical Director for the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg and the Dogwood Dell Festival of Arts in Richmond, VA. I have worked backstage and in the scene shops of other regional theatres and festivals including the Virginia Stage Company in Norfolk, the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, and the Brevard Music Festival in North Carolina.
I have been providing production services to diverse performance styles including theatre, dance, orchestra, opera, concert, and special events.
Recent Publications/Conferences:
I attended the 2011 Southeastern Theatre Conference where I presented at a Technical Direction workshop on the topic of Theatre as a Collaborative Art.

Private Interests:
When I am not involved in the theatre, I enjoy sports and American history. After spending a few years on the southern coasts, I am looking forward to enjoying winter activities here in the North Country.
