Current Professional/Research Interest:
I received my Bachelor of Arts in dance from California State University, Fullerton, where I worked with such artists as Charles Moulton and Lynn Topovsky. I performed and toured with a professional dance company, Benita Bike’s DanceArt, based out of Los Angeles for two years. I later moved to the East Coast to work toward my Masters in Fine Arts at Smith College. After graduation I worked professionally with several dance companies including Billbob Brown’s Chaos Theory Dance and Dance Collaborations as well as teaching in the Boston area for six years. I was an adjunct professor of dance as well as the Artistic Director of the University Performing Dancers at Bowling Green State University. I also taught in the Theatre and Dance Department at SUNY Potsdam. I taught and choreographed all age levels from pre-school to college and beyond.
Personal Interests:
I was born and raised in California. After graduation I received a massage therapist license and continued my education in the field of Pilates. I love living in the North Country with my husband and three sons.
