Wind Ensemble
The Spring 2013 concert will be "A Walk in the Park." Our repertoire will consist of musical selections one might expect to hear emanating from the village gazebo played by a fine community band on a lovely summer's evening. You will be sufficiently challenged technically and well-rewarded musically. Please plan to join us for the first rehearsal on Wednesday, January 23 and see how well it suits you. You can plan on it being fun - and good! Be thinking about what pieces you’ve always wanted to play – or have played before and want to play again! Here's what's in the box for starters:
Amazing Grace, Frank TicheliBalladaire, Frank Erickson
A Bernstein Tribute, Clare Grundman
The Blue and The Gray, Clare Grundman
Charter Oak (Concert March), Eric Osterling
Madstop Twostep, Arthur Frackenpohl
On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss, David Holsinger
Pop Culture, Robert Sheldon
Procession of Nobles, Rimsky-Korsakov
Salvation is Created, Tschesnokoff
Video Games Live Parts 1 & 2, Ralph Ford
Walden Pond, Mike Hannickel
