Wind Ensemble

Building on the fine - and FUN - work done by the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Michael Farley, we will again pursue an eclectic mix of the best available in wind band repertoire.  Plan on a march, a medley (and it's a great one of Ellington tunes by master arranger Calvin Custer), and a mixture of favorites as determined by the members of the ensemble.  A possible collaboration with University Chorus is also in the discussion stages.  As in the past, everyone is welcome!

Rehearsals:  Monday and Wednesdays, 4:30-6:00 pm in the Underground (Noble Center 001).  First rehearsal is Wednesday, January 25th.

Concert date:  Wednesday, April 25th at 8:00 pm in the Underground (or P-K Performance Hall)

Auditions:  Monday & Wednesday, January 23 & 24 from 4:30-6 pm in the Underground (Noble Center 001)

Audition requirements:  You, your instrument, and something you have prepared (or wished you had!).  We'll take it from there.  It'll be fine (and FUN!)
