Melinda Zvacek

Adjunct Instructor, Piano

Melinda Zvacek is a graduate of the University of Iowa (B.M., Piano Performance), where she studied piano and harp.  Principal teachers include Kenneth Amada, Stephen Harlos, Olga Gross and Mary Jane Girsch. Melinda performs frequently as a collaborative pianist, and has performed in master classes for Dalton Baldwin, Michel Lethier, and Hubert Laws.   She is co-composer, along with her husband Bret Zvacek, of several published works in the jazz idiom.  In addition, Melinda also maintains a private piano studio.
