Stephanie Lynn Peek ’06 who is finishing her dissertation in paleontology at the University of Wyoming visited the campus for Homecoming.
Stephanie is the granddaughter of Steve Peek (’39) who was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Homecoming. While she was here she gave the Department of Geology an excellent lecture on the use of biogeochemical proxies for the diet of marine animals and how they might be applied to the fossil record. Stephanie also answered many questions on graduate school and how to make the most of one’s graduate experience.
