At St. Lawrence
I am originally from Croghan, NY and attended Beaver River Central School. My first visit to St. Lawrence was a week spent participating in their annual Saints Track and Field Camp and from that point on, I knew I had found some place to call home. I was accepted into the Class of 2010 as a Sesquicentennial Scholar, and participlated as a varsity athlete on the cross country and track and field teams. During my time at St. Lawrence, I have grown to appreciate the sense of community, tradition, and dedication that resides here and the large alumni contigent associated with the university. I participated in many on campus groups, including Lambda Alpha, Liberty Partnership Program, and the Peer Tutoring Program. Some of my favorite life memories have occurred either on campus or with my friends from St. Lawrence, which include participating in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, taking anthropology courses and running on the 2009 cross country team, which placed second in the country. I have also enjoyed spending more time with my sisters, who are currently student athletes at St. Lawrence, as well. I completed my undergraduate work in May 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and a minor in Educational Studies.
