Placement Service

Erin A. Basford, Placement Service Coordinator

The Office of Educational Placement and Records, located in the Education Department, is a placement service that is designed to assist students and alumni, seeking education-related employment such as teachers, counselors, and administrators, with their job search.

A placement file (also known as a credential file) is primarily used by students or alumni seeking education-related employment such as teachers, counselors and administrators within a school district. Many prospective employers require a placement file as part of the application process. All students or alumni working toward certification are urged to register with the Educational Placement Service.
