Molter received Mellon Grant to study Bats in Arizona

Biology major Brianna Molter '11 was awarded a grant by the SLU Mellon Initiative to travel to Arizona in June to attend a workshop held by Bat Conservation International. She learned to mist net bats, identify many of the 22 species found in the Chiricahua mountains, and attend a series of lectures on bat ecology and conservation.
