Expedition Orientation

From the Director:

ADK Semester 2012 is off to an auspicious start! During the two days of expedition orientation the students camped on my land, picked up their books and supplies, made journals, received their orientation to their canoe expedition, made expedition flags to hang at each campsite and then ultimately in our kitchen at Arcadia, learned how to pack canoe barrels and found a little time to relax and play. What a nice, polite and helpful group! I am very much looking forward to working with them.

The next post will be after they return from their expedition. There will be photos from their first days at Arcadia and expedition photos to follow.  After that, there will be weekly updates written by the students accompanied by photos.
