CORRECTION REGARDING
STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE
St. Lawrence University, through Niagara National,
representing Markel Insurance Company, provides a comprehensive Student
Health Insurance Plan for all St. Lawrence students. This
policy runs from August 15, 2007 through August 14, 2008 and
the cost is $1350. Specific plan details and
cost information can be found at www.slustudenthealthinsurance.com.
NOTE: The cost of the insurance from 8/15/2007 through 8/14/2008 is
$1350, not $1220 as noted on previous correspondence.
All students, undergraduate and graduate, are eligible for this
plan; if needed, dependent coverage can be added. All
full time students are automatically enrolled in this plan.
If a student already has equivalent comprehensive coverage,
a waiver form must be completed at www.slustudenthealthinsurance.com to
eliminate this charge from the student account. Requests
for waivers must be submitted each academic year.
All students are required to have either private insurance or insurance
purchased through the University while attending St. Lawrence.
