Welcome to the SLU Class of 2009
Update, August 8:
1. Academic advisors will be contacting you over the next week or
two with instructions about course selection and the registration
process. In the meantime, you can get some questions answered at
the FYP advising
FAQ.
2. AlcoholEdu starts on July 25. You should have received information
in the mail about the program and how to login. If not, please contact
Counseling Services at (315) 229 5391.
3. If you have a quick question, don’t forget
that the FYP can be contacted by AOL Instant Messenger at FYPatSLU.
4. You will find new links on the left and right
for computer and athletics information, as well as information for
international students.
5. Updated Orientation
schedules are available and
can be printed out.
On
behalf of the faculty and staff of St. Lawrence, we’d like
to welcome you to the Class of 2009 and to your website. We’ve
designed this site as a one-stop shop where you can find all the information
you need over the summer as you make the transition to SLU. All around
this page you can find links to other web pages on campus that will be
of use to you and we’ll also be updating this page as deadlines
approach. In addition, we’ll give you the opportunity to meet some
of the current students who you’ll be in contact with when
you arrive in August. They will be your Orientation Leaders and
your Community Assistants and their role is to help you in getting
settled at SLU.
We hope you take the time to explore other parts of the SLU website
and get to know the people and offices who will be central to your life
for the next four years. There are dozens of opportunities for you to
get involved with the academic and co-curricular life of the university,
and we’ll do our best to help you do so. If you still have questions,
feel free to call either the First-Year Program at (315) 229-5909 or
the Office of Co-Curricular Education and Programming at (315) 229-5757.
We both look forward to meeting you and your families at Orientation in
August!
