St. Lawrence Student
Life - Then and Now
The
Singing Saints, a men's a cappella group, started in the early
1950s and has performed around the nation and produced several
albums and CDs, to popular acclaim. |
|
|
The
women singers on campus got together in 1953 to form the Singing
Sinners and they, too, have recorded the repertoire and performed
nationally. |

Different
scenes of recreation over the years: the Underground (left)
in the Noble Center, was originally a bowling alley
and is now a music rehearsal and performance space. Pick-up
volleyball games take place throughout the fall and spring. |

The social scene...dances
in the 1950s and Java Barn performances in 2005. |
