Richardson Hall: The first and for many years, the only, building at St. Lawrence. Constructed in 1856, Richardson housed classrooms, faculty offices and lodging for students. Today, it's an academic building for English and religious studies. Richardson is included in the National Register of Historic Places.
Herring-Cole Hall: Built in two phases (Herring Library in 1870, Cole Reading Room in 1903), today it is a reading and study space and public presentation area. It's also included in the National Register of Historic Places and is built of Potsdam sandstone.
Dean Eaton Hall was built in 1926 as a residence hall and renovated in 2000. Its stucco facade later inspired the Steiner Senior Townhouses.

Campus Aerial View : The photo at left is from the 1940s, showing Vetsville, "barracks"-like structures intended to house the large numbers of students returning to college after World
War II. Vetsville stood for 25 years, but is now the site of a modern athletic complex.

Creasy Commencement Commons at the Library Quad:The original "hill" campus is the heart of the University.
